Title: Account Executive – Key Markets
Reports to: Sales and Engineering Manager
Echelon Partners is looking for energetic Account Executive to be responsible for Enterprise Business Development in the Denver Metro Area focusing on the Medical or Government Business Sectors. This is a full time position with the Echelon Partners. Echelon Partners provides infrastructure related services to commercial, medical, and government facilities. We focus particularly on low voltage infrastructure, telecommunications, security, and managed IT services.
SUMMARY:
Sales of the company’s unique hosted services geared to medical (hospitals and medical centers) and government (military, government offices, and contractor) customer’s needs around telephony, security, access control, fire prevention, and managed information technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to self generates leads through cold calling, business periodicals, lead groups, or referrals.
- Maintain an active list of small to medium business prospects.
- Maintain cold call activity of at least 6 prospects per day.
- Present the company’s services in a concise format to gain client interest.
- Ask leading questions to ascertain the client’s needs.
- Put together the right set of packaged services to address the customer’s needs.
- Present the solution in the form of a financial cash flow model and payback.
- Close sales to meet their annual plan.
Required knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Undergraduate degree in business or 5-10 years experience in sales of telephones, security systems, copiers or other business products and services in either the Medical or Government business sector.
- Knowledge of small business financial characteristics a plus.
- Knowledge of computers, networks, and related building systems a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, and business correspondence and to develop visual graphics to present concepts to the perspective client.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients.
- Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with people of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds preferred.

Compensation:
- Base Salary Plus Incentives planned compensation $100k+
